Royal High School Scholarships – At the May 17th, 2007 Awards Night, four Royal High School students were selected to receive $1,000 scholarships: Jessica Lynn Davis (represented by her Dad), Courtney Ivy, Cesar Robledo, Jr., and Logan Taylor Smith. Last year, Elise Dawson, Michael Wahoski, Alyssa McCue, and Courtney Wilder were awarded the scholarships in the program's first year. (Picture not available)

Awards Expanded to Six This Year! - On May 22, 2008 $1,000 Scholarships were presented on Awards Night at Royal High School to (Left to Right): Jasmine Rusk, Diana Rodriguez, Catherine Pyka, Lidia Pagoda, Lachar Lewis, and Joshua Glover. Awards Night 2009 Scholarships
For a second year, we were able to make six awards! - On May 14, 2009 $1,000 Scholarships were presented on Awards Night at Royal High School to (Left to Right): Leslie Hacket, Gabriela Galvan, Colton Cornett, Kimbrea Worley, Mckenzie Smith, and Nakia Swain

Awards Night Presentor, Pastor Brad Morgan, served as the coordinator for the program each year. and is shown here making the presentation. The board owes Pastor Morgan a very big thank you for his dedication to this exciting program. After the applications were received a group was convened representing both the Board of L.C. Orrick Outreach and the Brookshire Pattison Christian Alliance to read and evaluate the applications according to the established criteria.

Our Application for Fall 2013 Scholarships Available Soon!
This
application / brochure for Fall 2009 scholarships is very similar to the one we used in 2010 - 2012 and tells about the exciting history of the program and the legacy left by Rev. L.C. Orrick in helping high school students get into college. It's a great time to start thinking about it, because the next year's application is due by the first of February, 2013. As soon as the new brochure is completed it will be posted here.
New Scholarship Program at A&M
Longtime friend of the founder of L.C. Orrick Outreach, Rev. Michael Bedevian, has accepted the responsibility of coordinating a new scholarship program at A&M to help keep in school students who are diligent but need financial help.
Texas A & M Wesley Foundation Director, Rev. Max Mertz worked with Rev. Bedevian to roll out the first program during the 2007 – 2008 school year, and was funded in Fall 2008. The program was also available to Blinn College students.
