Who We Are…
As a Non- Profit Corporation
On October 17, 1979, L. C. Orrick Outreach, Inc. was chartered as a Non-profit corporation which is chartered for religious purposes under section 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our founder, Rev. L.C. Orrick, operated the corporation as a vehicle for placing his religious program called The Hour of Hope on many radio stations across Texas. At his death on February 15, 2002, the remaining officers of the corporation not only kept his program on the air, but also began to develop plans to build KQLC-LP, a low power FM radio station for which he had made application before his death, and to offer scholarships to college students.
